The Run for the Seals



We did the Marine Mammal Center's Run for the Seals event last weekend.  A two mile walk/run in the Marin Headlands.  Absolutely gorgeous beaches and cliffs.



From the top of the trail -- looking down at Rodeo Beach.

Half way through after one mile up the hill.  The next mile was downhill.

Amazing to look down and see a pod of dolphins swimming near the surfers.

So many of the animals here recovering from man-made plastic hazards.  Horrible.

A tasty and lovely catered meal by Whole Foods Market.

Okay, then down to the beach, of course.



And have to take a look for Sea Glass .... found a few small pieces, but mostly beach stones and shells.
An amazing end to an amazing day.
