Low Tide at Sunrise

One of our favorite beaches on O'ahu is Diamond Head Beach...it is a wonderful stretch of sandy beach, uncrowded (except with surfers), very peaceful....and I have found some fabulous pieces of seaglass there....
We often go there early and watch the sunrise....it was a 6:30am low tide, so the perfect day...low tide was -.27...with lots of patches of rocks and seaglass to search...

These two pieces of seablue are larger than quarters, with perfect frosting and round edges....lovely...

My FIND OF THE DAY....was this intact bottle bottom that was sitting on the sand, right as I walked onto the beach....yes, waiting for me, I think...it has a rippled bottom edge, and a large K on the bottom...it is an incredible piece....
